By using Koast (published by Archive Vivante Inc., Quebec, Canada), you agree to these terms.
Koast lets you ride in a convoy: real-time crew map, navigation, push-to-talk voice, gamification (points, levels, badges). The app is provided “as is”, under continuous development.
Koast must never distract you from driving. You are solely responsible for driving safely and legally. Do not handle your phone while driving — set your destination while parked, use a mount and voice guidance. Follow the road safety laws and speed limits. Koast does not encourage speeding or racing; the score rewards distance only, never speed. We disclaim any liability for users’ driving behavior.
You are responsible for your account and the accuracy of your info. One account per person. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction.
Prohibited: harassment, hate speech, illegal content, impersonation, offensive names/photos, cheating, attempts to bypass security, or harming the service. Other members’ positions are for the convoy only — not to track or harass anyone.
Shared photos: you only upload photos you hold the rights to and with the consent of the people shown. No illegal, hateful or sexual content. Any member can report a photo or member, and block a user to stop seeing their content; a moderator can suggest removal, the crew chief or administrator can delete. We apply zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users; reports are handled within 24h.
We may warn, hide content, remove from ranking, suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules, with or without notice. Moderation actions are logged. Reports are handled within 24h.
The app, its design and code belong to Archive Vivante Inc. The content you post (name, vehicle photo, messages, ride photos) stays yours; you grant us the right to display it in the app — notably to your crew members — to run the service.
Service provided “as is”, without warranty of being error-free or continuously available. To the extent permitted by law, Archive Vivante Inc. is not liable for indirect damages related to using the app (including those related to driving, data loss or a service outage).
You can delete your account at any time. We may close an account for a violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute falls under the courts of Quebec.
Koast offers an optional Koast+ subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks extra features (colored traffic, unlimited assistant and ride planner, exclusive skins and cosmetics, lifetime stats, full road-trip trace, Koast+ badge) and includes 1 AI skin generation per month. Core social and convoy features, including push-to-talk, stay free. The price and duration (monthly or yearly) are shown in the app before purchase. The subscription renews automatically and your App Store or Google Play account is charged at the end of each period, unless canceled at least 24h before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies; we do not store your payment information.
