By using Koast (published by Archive Vivante Inc., Québec, Canada), you agree to these terms.
Koast lets you ride in a convoy: real-time crew map, navigation, push-to-talk voice, gamification (points, levels, badges). The app is provided “as is”, continuously evolving.
Koast must never distract you from driving. You are solely responsible for driving safely and legally. Do not handle your phone while driving — set your destination while stopped, use a mount and voice guidance. Obey the Highway Safety Code and speed limits. Koast does not encourage speeding or racing; the score rewards distance only, never speed. We disclaim all liability for users’ driving behavior.
You are responsible for your account and the accuracy of your info. One account per person. You must meet the legal age required in your jurisdiction.
Prohibited: harassment, hate speech, illegal content, impersonation, offensive names/photos, cheating, attempts to bypass security, or harming the service. Other members’ positions are for the convoy only — not to track or harass anyone.
Shared photos: you only upload photos you own the rights to and have the consent of the people appearing in them. No illegal, hateful or sexual content. Any member can report a photo or a member, and block a user to stop seeing their content; a moderator can suggest removal, the crew chief or an administrator can delete. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users; reports are handled within 24h.
Koast is intended for ages 13 and over; if you are under 14, a parent or guardian’s consent is required (Law 25).
We may warn, hide content, remove from the leaderboard, suspend or delete an account that breaks these rules, with or without notice. Moderation actions are logged. Reports are handled within 24h.
The app, its design and code belong to Archive Vivante Inc. Content you post (name, car photo, messages, comments, photos and rides) remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it in the app — to your crew, and publicly (“Discover” feed, followers) when you choose to publish — to operate the service.
Koast may offer credits and unlockable content (skins, map styles). Credits and purchases have no real monetary value, are not exchangeable for cash, and are tied to your account. Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable. We may change, suspend or remove paid content, and revoke credits or items obtained through fraud, error or refund. Purchases made via the App Store are also subject to Apple’s terms.
Koast+ subscription (auto-renewable). Koast offers an optional Koast+ subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks additional features (colored traffic map layer, unlimited AI assistant and ride planner, exclusive AI skins and cosmetics, lifetime stats, unlimited road-trip trace, Koast+ badge) and includes one AI skin generation per month. Core social and convoy features, including push-to-talk, remain free. The price and duration (monthly or yearly) are shown in the app before purchase, in your account currency. The subscription renews automatically and your App Store or Google Play account is charged at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we do not store your payment information.
Service provided “as is”, without warranty of error-free or continuous availability. To the extent permitted by law, Archive Vivante Inc. is not liable for indirect damages related to use of the app (including driving-related, data loss, or service interruption).
You can delete your account anytime. We may close an account for violating these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and Canada. Any dispute falls under the courts of Québec.
