What is Koast?
Koast is a mobile convoy app for car and motorcycle groups. The whole group shows up live on the same map, you talk with one button (push-to-talk), and turn-by-turn navigation guides the route. Koast is developed in Québec by Archive Vivante Inc.
What Koast does
- Live convoy map: every member appears and moves in real time. No one gets left behind.
- Push-to-talk: talk to your group with one button, like a walkie-talkie.
- Shared convoy arrival time: everyone knows who arrives when.
- Radar mode: see whether the group is together or strung out.
- GPS navigation with voice guidance, multiple stops and color-coded traffic.
- Ride planner: describe your outing and Koast suggests a route.
- Koast, the voice copilot: a hands-free assistant for navigation and questions.
- Crews: create or join a group, with chat, photos and events.
- Garage: your vehicle, its maintenance and reminders, in one place.
- CarPlay compatible.

Your data
Our database is hosted in Canada (ca-central-1 region). To run the app, some providers, mostly in the United States, also process information outside Quebec and Canada; the privacy policy names each of them. In the background, your location is only tracked during a ride. We don't collect advertising data and we never sell your data. You can delete your account and your data at any time, right in the app. All the details are in the privacy policy.
Safety first
Koast should never distract you while driving. Set your destination before you go, use a mount and voice guidance, or let your passenger run the app. Koast's score rewards distance covered, never speed.
Who makes Koast
Koast is designed and developed in Québec by Archive Vivante Inc., a small independent company. The app is updated often, based on feedback from the crews who ride with it.
